The morning after a tasting weekend
You came up from LA or San Diego, you did five wineries in a day, and now you have a three-hour drive home and a headache. That is most of our weekend.
Here is the honest version of what an IV does. It replaces the fluid you lost, faster than drinking water, because it doesn't have to pass through your gut first. Where it's medically appropriate and after screening, we can add Toradol for the headache — a non-narcotic anti-inflammatory, not a painkiller in the way people assume — and Zofran for nausea.
What it will not do is undo the alcohol. Your liver still has to do that on its own schedule, and no drip changes it. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

Bachelorette and bachelor weekends
The most common booking we take. Usually Sunday morning before everyone drives home, occasionally Saturday before the day starts again.
It is the same clinical process as a single visit — screening, a nurse practitioner on site, one litre of saline with a vitamin blend — run for three or more people at one location. We bring everything, you pick the room, and most appointments take 45 to 60 minutes, so it fits inside a getting-ready window instead of taking it over.
Send us the date and headcount and you'll hear back the same day. Spring and autumn weekends fill early.
If you run a front desk, a tasting room or a tour
Your guests ask you where to go when someone in the group is struggling. We would rather you had a real answer than a guess.
Peter O'Brien is a board-certified nurse practitioner with six years in an intensive care unit. He screens every person before treating them and declines the ones who shouldn't have an IV. Nobody gets handed to a technician working off a standing order.

Questions people actually ask
Can you come to my hotel room?
Yes, that is most of what we do out here. Hotel, rental, villa or a private room at a venue. We bring everything with us. For a mobile visit we need three or more people; on your own, the Old Town clinic is a five minute drive from most of the valley and takes walk-ins.
How fast can you get here?
Usually within the hour across the valley, and often faster in and around Old Town. Weekend mornings are the busiest window we have, so the earlier you call the better your odds of the slot you want.
Can you do a whole tour group?
Yes. Groups are the bulk of our weekend work, and three or more is the minimum rather than the maximum. Tell us the headcount and where the bus is stopping. Larger groups take a little longer than 45 to 60 minutes end to end, but everyone is treated at once, not in a queue.
Do we have to be staying in Temecula?
No. Plenty of people drive up for the day from LA or San Diego and get an IV before the drive home. Give us an address anywhere in the valley or along the I-15 corridor.
Can you treat someone who has been drinking?
Usually, yes. The practical difficulty isn't the medication, it's finding a vein, because someone badly dehydrated is harder to access. Peter screens everyone before treating and will decline if it isn't appropriate.
